BAE SYSTEMS SELECTS POINTE TECHNOLOGY FOR VITAL
SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

Landover, MD, August 14, 2000 – BAE SYSTEMS recently selected Pointe Technology Group, Inc. (www.pointetech.com) to develop a vital Cable Documentation and Control System (CDCS), which will provide ‘point to point’ wiring data for approximately 20,000 weapon systems cables installed on Trident submarines.
BAE SYSTEMS engineers contracted with Pointe to take full advantage of their existing technologies, while employing Pointe’s professional management team to design, develop and deploy a new system and platform on newer technologies. Certified Pointe professionals will apply their experience and skills in a variety of technical areas to increase functionality, performance and growth potential of the BAE SYSTEMS cabling system. Results will include designing a scaleable system design; a seamless transition interface with their current system; data conversion and reporting activities; and rigorous testing methods throughout all phases of development and completion. A team of systems and database analysts, testers and a project leader head up this team.
