POINTE TECHNOLOGY ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH
MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION
$10,000 Contributed to Make-A-Wish

Landover, MD, July 9, 1999 – Pointe Technology Group, Inc. (Pointe Technology) celebrates their partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation by hosting a charitable event on Saturday, July 17, 1999 at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Pointe Technology has contributed $10,000 to Make-A-Wish this year, which will be used to fulfill the wishes of two area children fighting life-threatening illnesses.
“We are grateful that Pointe Technology is joining us to help make wishes come true for children in the Baltimore area that are fighting life-threatening illnesses,” said Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic, Inc. President Ralph A. Nappi, Jr. “We salute Pointe Technology employees for making a difference in the lives of these special children.”
Pointe Technology has chosen the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic as its charity-of-choice for 1999. In addition to its corporate donation, Pointe Technology will also make various contributions throughout the year via individual employee support, event participation and corporate fundraising activities.
The more than 300 attendees of the charitable event include Pointe Technology employees, clients, friends and family; honored guests include sponsored Make-A-Wish children and their families and representatives from the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic.
Attendees will be treated to a pre-game catered picnic, a clown and face-painter for the children, an appearance by the Oriole Bird and admission to the Baltimore Orioles vs. Montreal Expos game.
Founded in 1983, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic, Inc. is one of 82 chapters of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America and has fulfilled the wishes of more than 2,600 children residing in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland and Northern Virginia.
