POINTE TECHNOLOGY GROUP, INC. JOINS ANTS SOFTWARE ALLIANCE PROGRAM

Landover, MD, February 16, 2006- Pointe Technology Group announces that it has joined the ANTs Software Alliance Program (ASAP) to accelerate the deployment of the ANTs Data Server in applications for Pointe Technology’s business and government customers.
“We first learned of ANTs software and the ANTs Data Server at a recent Gartner VarVision event, and observed with interest that it was chosen by Computer Reseller News as the 2004 database product of the year,” said Jeff Townsend, Pointe Technology CEO. “As we began looking into the needs of both our business and government clients, we realized there was enormous opportunity to work with ANTs to deliver to our clients the important price/performance benefits of the ANTs Data Server.”
